About Us
The 21st Medical Squadron is a part of the 21st Medical Group at Peterson AFB, the 21st MDS serves the community of Schriever AFB. The 21st MDS is comprised of 3 flights: Dental Flight, Force Medical Operations Flight, and Operational Support Flight. The men and women of the 21st MDS optimize the health and performance of more than 8,500 Air Force and Space Force personnel assigned to Schriever AFB. They supply high-quality primary care, dental, aerospace medicine, pharmacy, medical and dental laboratory, mental health, radiology, bioenvironmental engineering, public health, and health promotion services in support of a $6.2B satellite command and control network. With a $722,000 annual operating budget, the 56-person squadron delivers 17,000 patient visits per year totaling $7M in equivalent private sector care.
