Bioenvironmental Engineering (BE)

Bioenvironmental Engineering (BE) provides the Peterson-Schriever Garrison with operational health risk expertise to optimize human performance, prevent adverse health effects, and deliver data-driven solutions to enhance commander decision-making and health service support capabilities.

Mission

Our mission is achieved through the following BE capabilities:

1. Surveillance - Provide health surveillance by anticipating, recognizing and evaluating occupational and environmental health risks, CBRN hazards, and vulnerabilities.

2. Mitigation - Prevent adverse health effects through flexible and sustainable force health protection recommendations.

3. Response - Provide emergency response and counter-CBRN operations through surveillance and mitigation.

• Mondays from 9 - 10:45 a.m., and from 1 - 2:45 p.m.
• Thursdays from 8:30 - 10:45 a.m., and from 1 - 3 p.m.
