How it Works
Any TRICARE Prime beneficiary (active duty, dependent, retiree, or retiree dependent) age 14 or older who can get pregnant may walk into the 21st Medical Group Women’s Health Clinic on Tuesdays, 8 – 11 a.m., to receive same-day contraceptive services. Our services include contraception counseling, renewal of birth control prescriptions, new prescriptions for short-term methods (pills, patch, vaginal ring), initiating Depo-Provera injections, Nexplanon placement, and IUD insertion. No appointment is necessary. The clinic will be first come, first served until maximum capacity has been reached for that day. Our goal is to provide convenient care without multiple return visits to reduce barriers to using contraception. Please contact the clinic with any questions.
Note: Contraceptive services are offered in accordance with Colorado law (Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS) 13-22-105 (Page 319).
